Student Requirements:

  • In-Class Time - 75-hours minimum

  • Online Learning - 44 hours Minimum

  • Complete 30x student practitioner sessions. This includes 1/2 hr intake for  time for the pre/post student session - 30 hours

  • Instructor sessions (give one, receive one) - 3 hours

  • Optional electives and practicum service hours, (additional fee) - 24 hours

  • Supervision Class then Closing & Graduation Ceremony - 6 hours

Total minimum hours required for the  Foundations diploma: 180-hours.
Additional hours are optional through participation in our expos and other sound events.

STEP 1

Take the required prerequisite course.

Many schools have an application fee, instead we are doing an application class. This will give you a taste of our teaching style and us a chance to see if we are a good match.

*Prerequisite class & videos must be completed prior to enrollment. No exceptions. It is only offered a few times a year and space may be limited, so sign up today.

(normally $5000 $4000 for the first 10 students, financing is available for an additional fee).

Qualifying for the advanced Diploma & ISTA Certification

To qualify for our advanced Diploma and  the ISTA Certification you will need to take an additional 40 hours of electives. Elective courses are not included in tuition fee and have additional fees associated to them.

School Of Sound Electives

Who Can Take Electives?

  • You do not need to be registered in the School of Sound Foundational Diploma Program to take an elective.

  • Everyone is open to taking our electives.

  • If, after taking an elective you decide to join the Foundational Diploma Program, credits have earned will be applied to your 24 hours of elective requirements.
